2. Lawgarithms:A
CollegeStudent’s
LawBlog
My name is Sam, and I’m currently a sophomore pre-law
student at the University of California Los Angeles. College
is supposed to be the most exciting time of our lives—
parties, girls, pretending to learn something—right?
Well, call me a nerd, but I can’t wait for college to be over.
I’m a political science major with a pre-law focus but I’m still
taking my general education requirements as a sophomore
and I’m so incredibly bored. I don’t like to party and I don’t
talk to many girls, so schoolwork is all I have and the
coursework I’m doing now just isn’t cutting it. All I want to
do is graduate so I can move on to law school and study what
I’m really interested in.
3. MyPurpose
I’ve wanted to be a lawyer for as long as I can remember. I
come from a long line of lawyers and I think it’s in my
blood. My great-grandfather, my grandfather, and my
father are all lawyers. They’ve dabbled in criminal defense
and personal injury law and I hope to do the same.
Because I have no control over my age or the fact that I’m
still an undergraduate, I decided to create this blog where I
can begin discussing all of the things I’m learning about the
law before I get to law school. I plan on researching laws,
strategies, and every topic of the law I can find so I can get
into the best law school and be ahead of my class when I get
there.
If I can graduate from law school at the top of my class, I’ll
hopefully get hired by a great firm. My goal in life is to help
clients who may have lost hope before finding me. Whether
they’re injured in an accident and are looking for
compensation or they’ve been charged with a crime and
need a strong defense, I hope to be the guy to guide them
through the legal process and support them through their
struggles.
4. HowMyBlog
CanHelpYou
This blog is a way for me to keep a written and organized
record of all I’ve learned so I can easily look back on it
and study it later. This blog can also be useful to you if
you’re looking to gain knowledge in the field of law.
Whether you want information on personal injury
accidents, the legal process, criminal defense strategies,
or laws in your state, I’ll do my best to learn that
information and provide it here.
Hopefully, this site can be useful for us all. Instead of
focusing on boring logarithms and word problems in
school, I can’t wait to spend my free time solving
LAWgarithms instead!
