As a Religious of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Sr. Schmeling has developed her talent and experience as an administrator and educator in the context of Catholic colleges and universities. What began as a four-year undergraduate experience composed of personal relationships, liberal education and a breadth of social opportunities has expanded into a profound appreciation for Catholic higher education. Her experiences over the last thirty years have broadened her consciousness, honed her skills of critical inquiry and established a career of service leadership.
