1. In line with RM 073 s. 2022, Enhancing sustainable “Gulayan” in every public schools, the school has
strong initiative to plan and target activities to attain sustainable “gulayan. It aims to cultivate, strengthen
and spread the benefit of planting and harvesting vegetables at school and home.
To strengthen the GPP (Gulayan sa Paaralan) projects and activities, the school were guided with the School
Action Plan 2021-2022 which craft activities that are entitled to collect parent’s support on letting their children dig
and plant at home. The school also provide some seeds and assistance in every household that will sustain support on
every student through sustainable GPP (Gulayan sa Paaralan) on D. O. 223 s. 2016. This will also engage each family to
fortify the positive value of family ties.
The “Gulayan sa Paaralan” as part of the BE 2022 initiated the program as it follows the program matrix stated
in the action plan. Initial step was taken into consideration by the coordinator and with the help of advisers where they
distributed seedlings among students who are eager and capable to plant vegetables at their backyard. It was monitored
from distribution of seeds, land preparation, planting, talking good care of it and finally harvesting the plants. It was
guided by the advisers in applying of pesticides and organic fertilizers which are available at their homes.
The school has ___________ number of parents and volunteers who took the initiative to help enrich every
corner of the school with crops and vegetables.
The school reinforce a strong partnership with the parents and LGUs as it is participated by the parents
and teachers during “Brigada Eskwela”, every corner that could be possible planted were taken hand in hand to
possibly create, clean and green environment for learning.
The advocacy of the program aims to provide organic vegetables among families who participated in the
“Gulayan sa tahanan” whom they promote the essence of organic farming and its effect of good nourishment than
commercialized planting. The program will be implemented for the entire school year with the aid of monitoring and
proper documentation of the output. It also promotes camaraderie among members of the family for the harvested
vegetables will sustain the needs of the family. The program became possible with the help and support of stakeholders
and parents.
The originated program reflects harmonious relationship with parents, community and other stakeholders which
in particular promotes cooperation and camaraderie which are the basic recipe of every program and activities of the
school.
