• 43.4% of DP are children.
• 40% of DP are with physical disability.
• Clubfoot Deformity was one the cause of DP

it was common for
clubfeet to get Rx by various conservative
method or early age Surgery (PMR)
that too in nearly 50% Children
This usually led to a poor outcome
& the children were
left to live with Club foot disability

programs in many countries throughout the
world. Together, with the American Academy of
Orthopaedic Society (AAOS), we are happy to
collaborate with Pakistan on developing a high-
quality, sustainable clubfoot program. We
currently have providers of the Ponseti
Method in Pakistan and we are eager to get
started on expanding your program. In
December I had the opportunity to visit
Pakistan, along with Dr. Shafique Pirani, and
we were impressed by the dedication and
commitment of the doctors we met and
trained.
