Amber is currently undertaking research as a PhD at Royal Holloway, University of London. She is conducting ethnographic research examining how member-based campaigning organisation interact with the availability of online behavioural data based on perceptions of members’ agency and institutional authority. Prior to pursuing postgraduate education, Amber was the Digital Activism Officer at the International Secretariat of Amnesty International. She provided capacity building to national offices, advised on high-level strategies for the organisation and project managed international activism projects.
