business. In 1914 the company
branched into Engineering and
iron foundary, manufacturers of
pavement lights, casements etc.
Specialities: pavement lights,
iron staircases, ventilators, steel
sashes, casements, iron doors,
collapsible gates,“Copperlites”.
They had a large business
employing around 350 people.
On research I found the poster
on the right. Its a poster they
must have had up or a catalouge
cover. From my research its like
ly it was built in the late 1800’s ear
ly 1900’s. I found that they were a
sought after company for iron staircas
es. They’re really well made, and there are
still an interest in them till today.
