- 2. Notes
You can increase the hat size by adding stitches or needle size. When adding,
make sure the amount of stitches can be divided by four.
When knitting the tube, try to knit more loosely towards the end. You don't
want to strangle your dog, don't you? You could also increase the needle size
instead if that doesn't work out.
Pattern
Knitted tube:
CO48 (12sts per needle)
2k2p around for 10 rows.
Knit in stockinette stitch for 10cm (4in)
2k2p around for 10 rows.
BO loosely.
Crocheted ears:
ch3 and 10dc in magic ring (ch3 = first dc), turn 11 dcs
[dc,inc] for 5 times, dc 15 dcs
Cut yarn leaving a long tail for sewing and pull through.
Cut similar shaped, but smaller ears from the felt and sew on.
Sew the ears on the tube at the end of the tighter ribbing.
Weave in ends.
Humiliate your dog.
