• Served as Technical resource for Human Resources and Payroll modules of Workday HCM
Implementation; assist in planning for UAT and Parallel test phases; analyze legacy system data for
transfer to Workday; create and document best practices for business process transfer; work with 3rd
party vendors to create integration design documents and testing
• Workday support including building Pay Components, Look Up Tables, Creating Earnings and
Deductions; Linking Time Off Plans to Earnings; Benefits to Deductions; Calculation Worktags;
Maintaining Allowance Plans; Supporting the entire Payroll Process from Retro to Calculating and
Completing a Payroll; Supporting the Manual and On Demand Check Process; Ensuring Taxes are
processed correctly; Researching HR issues that affect the outcome of the payroll process.
• Liaison between Human Resources and the IT support teams; analyze new Workday functionality and
assist with implementation
• Responsible for maintaining HCM, payroll and time and attendance system setup; analyze and
document HR business requirements and HRIS release notes
• Develop HR user procedures, guidelines, and documentation; train HR system users on new processes
and functionality
• Write, maintain, and support a variety of complex reports and queries using SQL and Access
• Project lead for Payroll Year End, Acquisitions, Divestitures; preparing system for all special pay
practice changes; Centralizing Payroll from the separate Business Units into a Shared Service
Organization
• Recommend and implement innovated process and customer service improvement solutions;
Standardized Earning and deduction codes for 17 locations
• Produce detailed HR system/application test plans and execute extensive testing for all changes,
upgrades, and new releases
• Merging and standardizing 2 systems with 23 pay companies into one HRMS System;
