This book by the help of holy Spirit, contains just what you need to know in order to set your
surroundings and in turn, the whole world on fire for God. In it, you will see that Holy Spirit
revealed mysteries regarding the lives of the men of God of this generation.
If a seed of revival is planted in you and it is not germinating yet, it is never too late. You have
read many books that you thought would stir up your inner man, but no much difference, the
agitation will start now. It comprises the biblical principles that will guide and keep you ever
strong to make impact for God.

CHAPTER ONE
Vision of Stale Bread
I sat down praying on the eleventh of January 2012, late in the evening and just before midnight,
the Lord opened my eyes and showed me a short vision.
At a distance, I saw Elijah eating the bread that was divinely prepared for him because of the
journey ahead of him according to the book of I King 19. He embarked on the journey to the
Mountain of God. He needed strength that would sustain him throughout the course of His
journey.
In the same vision, another bowl of bread came in front of my previous view and I wondered what
this meant. As I was engrossed in the thought, the plate was drawn closer to me that I could look
into it to see what it contained. I peeped into the plate and what I saw in it was stale bread.
While still looking into the plate, my spirit mumbled the word, “stale bread.” Also, I heard the
voice of the Spirit of God say, “this is the bread that is meant to strengthen the ‘Elijahs’ of this
generation but behold, it is stale.’ The Lord continued to explain the mystery behind this vision as
we will continue to see it below.
The Lord God can never be wearied until He performs what He has purposed to do especially in
these last days. Whether you could see it yet or not, the prophecy of Act 2: 18, 19 would not pass
unfulfilled. This land will shake again. Not that we are not doing anything, but the price he
expects us to pay is far greater than what we are paying. If you have not seen it that way, believe it
now.
The lord made me understand this revelation according to the whole story in the part of the
scripture mentioned above with respect and connection to the situation of the generation of the
newest ‘Elijah’s of this time. It involves men of God in the ministry and the young men that are
coming up.
The Valiant That Lose Boldness
Elijah turned Israel around with the demonstration of the raw power of God. People gave their
lives unto God, turned away from idolatry. But the threat of stronghold of hell caused Elijah to
run.
Though the world is gradually going to an end, this period is meant to see the most powerful
demonstration of the power of God of all ages, in God’s own ways. I pray that God will make it
happen through you in Jesus name.
It is never too late if you are ready now. Why should a man that was so divinely endowed run at
the threat of Jezebel? He lost his boldness. Most of the time we are enveloped in God’s presence,
boldness is the switch that activates the demonstration of the power of God. Power of God acted
while he was bold to face Ahab. He destroyed the prophets of Baal, fire fell on his sacrifice. He
also held rain for three and half years.

Although, many evil occurrences will characterize the end time, at the same time God wishes to
demonstrate the power of His name through the gospel of Jesus Christ our Lord.
The Lord says that many of His Children have lost boldness in the sovereignty of who He is. He
continues…. “Either secretly or openly, you are meant to face and overcome Jezebels for the sake
of the gospel. Where is your boldness? Summon your boldness that is tampered with the unction
of the cross to watch over My sheep”.
A Stale Bread
Though Elijah was heading towards the Mountain of God, He had occasionally been there and this
time, he was on the adventure again. This kind of journey is not an ordinary journey. You cannot
just wake up and say you want to embark on it without taking into account, the cost. It is a
spiritual journey to the place of power and the rod of God. You will need to be fed with the bread
of heaven for strength.
Many men of God that are scared of the threat of ‘Jezebels’, think of quickly visiting the Mountain
of God but do not understand the mystery behind the strength that wil carry them throughout the
course of the journey.
Some do think that charismatic works in service can do. Elijah was fed twice with the food before
he could reach the mountain. The experience of how God uses you can become a story if you do
not renew your calling on His Mountain. Note that before you can get there, you need a bowl of
divine bread.
The lord says that many of His people are on the road but there still lies a great distance before
they will reach the place around where the food that will give them strength for the journey is. “It
pains,” the Lord says, “many have been wandering on the way and the period of their revelation is
gradually passing while their personal bread of heaven is becoming stale where it lies…. because
they tarry for too long.”
The lord desires to open the eyes of would-be heroes of faith and send them forth on the road that
leads to the place where the divine cake that will sustain them throughout the journey to the
Mountain of God lies.
Man of God, you must have impact on your generation during your own time. This book is meant
for just a group of people that want to shake and turn the world around for God. If you have
determined that, then you lay your hand on the right book. I believe my God, the God of Elijah,
that after you must have read this book, the world will turn around from dead religions, atheism
and all others unto God through the gospel of Jesus Christ our Lord as you begin to manifest raw
power of God in every place henceforth in Jesus name.
Pastor, God has called you and showed you powerful visions on how you will affect the world for
Him but you are so busy with activities that you do not have time anymore to draw His hand in
His secret place, think about it, the bread meant for you may be going stale where it is.
Sister, you have the gift of singing to save souls for God and edify the church but recently you
have abandoned your gift because of the plight of your marital life or finance, know that your
bread may be going stale.
Of a truth, anointing moves but you know yourself that the level of your holiness within and
without is questionable, your bread may be going stale.
You are a leader but you battle always with the filthiness of the spirit and flesh, far away where it

is, your bread is going stale.
You are anointed but character wise not kind, this will not allow you to get to the place of the
divine cake not to talk about the Mountain of God.
Financially or materially, you are not wholeheartedly doing the work of God, it is yours first, you
are far away on this road.
You find it hard to forgive, you are far away on this road.
A man of God that cannot render a complete account of what God puts in his charge, you cannot
continue on this road and what do you think will be happening to your food where it is?
You are not enthusiastic to witness for Christ, then you may have no reason to embark on this
journey.
Your prayer and Bible study life is not consistent, devil will not allow you to find it easy on this
road. You are far away from the place of the bread.
You do not really understand how to have fellowship with Holy Spirit. It is one of the criteria to
enter the road. The road to the place of power is not for the mediocre in the spirit. You must have
been filled to a level before you become qualified.
You do not know how to hear God even through the Bible, how will you know while He wants
you to go the left or the right direction on that road?
You have zeal towards the work of God but without knowledge and the direction of Holy Spirit,
you cannot reach the place of divine bread, you might have been tied down- Rom10:1, 2
Really you have that call, glory be to God. But sometimes you pretend to be a prophet while the
Lord has not made you one and you abandon your own line of calling and you act in that office as
though the Lord sends you, it is a signal that you have a spiritual road block on your way to the
place of power. This is not of the devil or enemy, you caused it yourself. You may find it difficult
to acquire the true raw power of God.
You are in the work of the ministry but you look about too much like Samson while passing across
the cities of Philistines that you do not concentrate very well on your assignment again, your food
may be going stale where it is.
You that abhor malice and pride, your position can not carry you on this journey. How long can we
continue to list all these? Holy Spirit will convince you of such things in your life that tie you
down on this road to the place of power, remember you need to get to the Mountain of God.
Many men of faith are tied down on the road leading to the place of the food of heaven and the
host of God is displeased because the time of manifestations of such people is gradually passing
and the people awaiting their manifestations ( Rom 8:19 ) are gradually dying while the bowls of
their divine cake is gradually going stale.
Again, more to this is that, these people blindly think they are working hard for God but do not
know that they are just beating about the bush, wasting their period of divine ordination on earth.
Let us examine ourselves perhaps we have not been tied down since we have been working for
God.
If nothing is blocking us on this road, then has the world around us felt the impact of the raw
power of God through us? You know the answer now.
These are few of the things that block people on the road that leads to the Mountain of God.
As you are reading this book, the awe-inspiring power of Holy Spirit is coming upon you and is
liberating you from whatever obstacle that might have been blocking you on the road to the place
of power in the name of Jesus Christ. I want you to go slowly in reading right now, because the

ray of light of Holy Spirit is penetrating your whole spiritual system and you will begin to see
those obstacles as they will be coming to your mind. What next to do is to prayerfully deal with
them. Then you will be able to get to the place of divine bread of heaven where you will get the
strength that will carry you to the Mountain of God, the place of the rod and power to rule the
world for God.
You can pray thus:
Anything in me and around me, standing as a road block on my way to the place of
divine authority and power, be roasted to ashes in the name of Jesus.

CHAPTER TWO
The wilderness Experience of God’s Generals
Wilderness is a place that is located outskirt a city or town. It is the abode of wild animals and
wild forest. In 1 sam.17:35, David was used to lead his father’s sheep into the wilderness to feed
on the pasture. In the same wilderness, two animals; a lion and a bear, came out to attack his flock.
There is no house built in the wilderness, neither is there any infrastructural facility that can attract
any kind of human settlement. There is no security or any kind of comfort in the wilderness.
In the beginning, it was the original purpose of God that man should have an unbroken
relationship with him. This kind of relationship ought to bring every man face to face with God.
Adam and Eve carelessly allowed the devil to break this priceless intimacy. Hence the divine
presence that carries the communion of Holy Spirit attracts cost.
The heroes of faith in the bible thereafter began to seek the cost. This cost they sought and found
made them outstanding figures of their generations for God. The heroes of faith like Enoch, Noah,
Abraham, Moses, Samuel, Elijah, David etc, had something in common…. And that is an
experience of the wilderness. The experience of the wilderness is the cost that all generals must
necessarily pay to plunge themselves into the move especially in this end time. God chooses to
make His men pass through the wilderness before they wil be completely fit. However, the thicker
the jungle of the wilderness, and the unpleasant adventure of the inevitable journey, the higher the
calling and expectations of God regarding what He has entrusted into one’s hand.
Although there exist, institutions and colleges, where people that are called of God go, to acquire
knowledge and understanding about the schools of ministry, God has His own preparatory school
that He takes His ministers through. This is where He prepares and makes them ready.
The personal training school of God that he takes his oracles through is not such which is
architectural y designed as of human institutions packed with tutors, theologians and philosophers,
but it is that which works an unusual transformation of an extraordinary grace into a man to
become outstanding for God. This in turns brings about the generation of a new being who would
have developed a divine insight to see, a divine hearing to hear and a divine inner mouth to
convey from the Lord to His people.
The wilderness of God in its spiritual sense is not as of the physical, but the necessary grooming
that an oracle of God must acquire before he becomes completely made. There are accounts of the
spiritual heroes of faith who passed through the wilderness of God.
John the Baptist was one of the people that affected his nation for God. The dignitaries and the
less privileged, all trooped into the wilderness, pushing one another to consult him-Matt 3:1. God
equipped him so much that everyone could not just stay but to hear him speak about repentance
and Christ. No religion or any false doctrine could compete with the authority of the Word in his
mouth. Governors, professors, people from various professions and rulers from all levels were
rushing to him to hear the gospel and know what to do. The life of this man could command all
these because he got all the experiences of wilderness.
Before the ministry of Jesus started, He took his journey into the wilderness to acquire the
necessary experiences. Devil struggled to snatch the experience from Jesus because He knew that
with this, he would redeem human race from damnation of hell.
All the generals that shook the world for God in the account of the scripture and in the past

generations acquired the experiences of this wilderness. But here, we will take just a case study.
We will be examining the wilderness experiences which equipped Moses to affect the World of
then for God.
Moses
Moses was one of the men that affected nations for God. He had a divine mandate of God upon
his life but could not realize it at the initial stage of his life. However, he eventually became a
general of his generation for God. God took him through the experiences even while he would not
understand what was happening to him. There are some experiences that are common to God’s
generals in all generations. These can be seen in the life of Moses.
Developing A Divine Insight
As Moses grew in the strange land, the first thing that happened to him is that he began to see. A
divine mandate creates inner eyes to see the challenges or the mission associated with a divine
assignment that one has. Anyone that will become an oracle and rule the world for God will first
begin to see the need to turn things around for God. He will begin to see the burden of the church
just the same way Moses looked on the burden of his people. He will think in his spirit, how the
church will overcome the host of hell . As Moses spied the Egyptians, the person will understand
and see the strategy of the host of hell and devise a spiritual means of pulling it down.
Common people will not see what he sees. If you as a child of God or minister or pastor do not
have a burden as touching how to see and find solution to the problems of the members of your
church, or the plight of the people in your environment, city, state, country or the world at large, it
means you do not have an element of being an oracle or a general for God in your generation. Has
it ever struck your mind like a burden on what you ought to do to effect a change for God in your
generation? Your regular service is not enough in God’s sight. God is building a legion of strong
men who will uphold the gospel and turn the entire nation towards God like Shadrach, Meshach
and Abednego. Developing a divine insight is very important to plunge oneself into the move.
Pray this one three times with aggression:
Lord, open my inner eyes to see what you want me to see, to be able to move
the world for you in the name of Jesus.
A Divine Agitation of God’s mandate in one’s inner man
If a man will be a voice for God who will turn the world around, another thing he will discover is
that he will not just be able to sit comfortably, no ease. Something will be turning the inside of his
inner man.

Then I said, I will not make mention of him nor speak any more his name, but His
word was in my heart as a burning fire, shut up in my bones, and I was weary with
forbearing, and I could not stay. (Jer. 20:9)
In verse 12, chapter 2 of the book of Exodus, Moses could not stay. Though little did he realize
about his divine assignment, he took a step which none of his people in the land of captivity could
take. Adivine mandate in you will always push you to cause a disaster for the enemy. Aman with
a divine stir in his inside will turn his environment around for God in the closet. He wil not just be
able to stay, he will speak a word and everything around him will shake. He wil preach the word
of God and there will be signs and wonders. This is one of the signs you will see in your life if
truly you are qualified to be a God’s general in your generation.
The flight
This is another crucial aspect of the recruitment. After a short expression of the inner agitation, the
Lord may withdraw the trainee a while in order to complete His work on him. At this juncture, the
devil, through the reaction of self and fear may scare the man in the making but how?
In Exodus 2:12, Moses hid the Egyptian he slew in the sand and in verse 15, he ran from Pharaoh
while the deed was revealed. The weapons self and fear are two of the biggest weapons often used
by the devil to kill and bury divine virtues God puts in many of His end time generals.
If you know within yourself that you are afraid to voice and display before the world, what God
has placed in you, and you know this divine agitation is turning you on your inside, see, the
weapons of fear and self are at work.
In some of the cases, the ministers or pastors under whom some potential generals are working
may be like Pharaoh that devil indirectly assigns to kill the divine mandate. That is why God had
to withdraw Moses and that is a Divine flight. During the course of divine flight, you will
experience the completion of the training.
At this point, you must know God is leading you, nothing more and nothing less. Not knowing his
mind may constitute a risk. Here, he takes you on a journey. You may need to go further from
where you are. If you are still there, stagnancy may occur. In the course of the journey, you wil
experience the fol owing.
Hard work
During this period, the Lord may remove you initially from where you are to work on you. Here,
you will need to give yourself wholly to the service of God and to the service of help at all levels,
to humanity. It is also expedient for you to have a retreat with the Lord to receive the totality of
His mission for your life. Through this, the Lord links you and takes you to your next level.
In the course of the flight of Moses, he was given to the ministry of help and thus the Lord linked
him with Jethro. His working with Jethro brought him to the Mountain of God. The lord wil link
you in Jesus’ name but you must be hard working for Him with all your hearts and might. By
virtue of doing this, you will get to where you are going.
Pray thus five times:

I will not die unrevealed to the world, to the glory God, in the name of Jesus
Christ.
Accepting strain
For you to forge ahead, you may need to deny yourself of place of comfort. You must develop a
divine foresight of where you are going. The glory ahead of you is bigger than what you think you
can imagine. If all Moses could think about was the comfort of the palace that he stopped the
turning of the divine agitation in his inside, he would die with that minor level of being a local
champion. But because he followed the stages of the divine training consecutively, he had a great
impact. We will continue to talk and read about him for as long as the world wil be in existence. In
the pursuit of your divine assignment, you wil have to abandon the delicacies of the palace,
intuition of the Holy Spirit will lead you the way to go. But note that there is no fullness of God in
mediocrity.
The strain may still mean getting into a very deep intimacy with God right where you are and this
open door for you to next level. In doing this, you will deny yourself of the pleasure of self and the
world. That is the way.
Pray like this for ten minutes:
Whatsoever journey I will embark upon, that will give birth to my greatness,
father Lord, let it begin now, in the name of Jesus Christ.
Backside of the Desert
After Moses had accepted the strain of leaving the palace, that he gave himself to hardwork, the
lord linked him with Jethro, who employed him as a shepherd of his sheep. One of such factors
that the lord looks for in His vessels is faithfulness. He was faithful in all he did. One thing you
may not know is that as you take all these steps, God leads you. The Lord led Moses and the flock
towards His Mountain. And before he would get to the Mountain of the Lord, he reached the
backside of the desert. A desert is a place that is very barren. It is usually hot, dry and sandy with
little or no rain. This is a place that is a prerequisite for entering the last stage where you wil see
God and complete your training.
Does this question come to your mind? Why should Moses have to bring the flock to a barren land?
The answer is that he was not of himself, God was leading him. Moses came to a kind of place
that he had never seen in his life. Such is a place of God’s presence that leads to the stage of
awesome transformation of Gods’ generals. When you are approaching the throne of God, you are
into his presence first. In this spiritual desert stage of His presence, what are the encounters?
Hotness
Desert is a hot place and the hotness signifies power in its spiritual sense. Moses was endued with
divine power here. Until you get to the backside of the desert, you may not experience God’s

awesome power and endowment for your ministerial calling. Many people struggle, fast, pray,
attend seminars, outreach etc, to acquire the power and could not, why?
This is because they are yet to get to the backside of the desert. Only in this place, you will be
filled and Satan will not be able to stay before you.
If you have been experiencing stagnancy for long in your ministry, or service for God or even in
your secular work, you need to take a move to the backside of the desert. God help you as you do
this in Jesus’ name.
Close your eyes and say this with utmost aggression:
I move to the place of Divine power in the name of Jesus
Dryness with Little or No Rain
Another characteristic of a desert is dryness. In its spiritual context, it symbolizes purity of one’s
totality. You will remain always purged for the Lord. You do not allow sin to stay in your life. In
this backside of the desert, nothing attracts sin unto you; your systems organs, feeling etc are dead
to lust of the eyes, lust of the flesh and the pride of life, no evil communication, no worldliness,
etc. There is nothing attractive in the desert. You will not see what will corrupt your heart. You
will see yourself approaching God. Here, you inculcate the consciousness of becoming dead to sin
into yourself always.
Sandy Nature of A Desert
Asandy soil can be worked upon, it is not hard. It can allow penetration. Also, the particles of the
sandy soil of the desert are not closely packed together, there are spaces in between the particles.
This makes us to understand that a man in the making that reaches the stage of the backside of the
desert Will be operating at level where God is very free to dissect him and work on him the way
He wants. Such a man does not argue with God or murmur. The Lord works mystery upon him
beyond the natural and he will be fully equipped.
You can still effectively work for God even with the endowment of power on this stage. The next
stage is for the uncommon people, the generals of God.
Just stay and offer this prayer.
I surrender my totality unto God in the name of Jesus Christ
Mountain of God
This is the last stage where you see God. Now on your return to fulfil the mandate upon your life,
nothing can intimidate you. Here, you will complete the training. Though everyone may not
necessarily get to this level.
On this mountain, Moses encountered God. And the experiences were just like that of Peter, James
and John on the Mountain of transfiguration.
Moses saw fire burning and the bush was not consumed! What does this entail?

A Divine Distraction
When you see God, you become another man. The yesterday man that self and fear were used to
threaten was gone. Your wholeness is captured for God. You will begin to see what amazes you,
that which you have never seen before on your journey to the Mountain. That kind of experience
could not be discussed with human words, a divine ecstasy!
Your knowledge of God is very vast now. You become a prophet of your own and even of nations.
Some kinds of gifts that God has never released to the generation of men wil be released on you.
God will begin to deal with you in a way that is not comprehensible. No one ever parted red sea,
carried out similar signs in Egypt like Moses in the history of the generals in the scripture. Al
these will begin to happen in your ministry. Then your encounter with God here will be difficult to
explain. And you will rule the world for God and make a blue print in the history of men.
Moses could not but behold a strange scene he had never seen on his journey. He could only see
God here after he had been purged with the dryness of the spiritual desert and could be worked
upon. He had the experience of divine distraction and was empowered to see God coupled with
other previous experiences of the journey. This is one experience you will have on the mountain.
On this mountain, you will begin to see God in many things that look meaningless to ordinary
people because they could not see but you can see, due to the experiences of the training you have
acquired over time.
Commission
This is for a higher calling. You need to take a serious step to reach this level. It is on this
Mountain that you will acquire a complete direction on how to accomplish your God-given dream.
Moses heard the voice of God here. He understood everything he had to do, every step he was to
take to succeed on the mission. God gave Moses full pieces of information on how he was to go to
Egypt and deliver Israelites from the hand of Pharaoh.
That was his destiny. He got to receive the mission and how to accomplish it on the Mountain.
Every piece of information about how, when, what, touching your destiny, will be unfolded to you
on the Mountain, nothing like doubt. In this commissioning, you will find yourself concentrating
on God. No earthly distraction, nothing, not even anxieties or worries of this life could appear.
All what happen to you is that you are catching the sight of God. You will embark on the journey
with all clarity, no confusion. Here, if it appears that there are battles of darkness against you, it
will be totally dissolved and will disappear. You will begin to operate in uncommon actions
because the Lord is going with
The Rod
For a man to be a general for God in any generation, he must possess a divine rod. Bible makes it
clear that the lord Himself operates with a rod (Ps. 23:4). Any other level of Operation with God
below this level may not necessarily require the use of this rod. But to operate on this level, you
need a rod. The rod makes you a general for God. There is a distinction about the lives of God’s
generals. They make impact on their generations.
All other generations after them talk about how God mightily use them to affect nations for the

purpose of his glory and the gospel. However, if you have strived to get to the mountain, do you
possess the rod yet?
Say this utmost aggression:
Where is the rod of my ministerial calling? Appear by fire in the name of
Jesus.
Note that without you being on the mountain, you may not possess the rod, and the criteria that
will make you eligible to possess the rod have being discussed above. You must be working hard
for God and all others.
The rod of God is not meant for just anybody. God does not play with it. He has certain number of
rods for each generation.
If you are a man of God and you do not affect your surroundings, not to make mention of your city,
State, or nation, it means you do not have the rod. The city where you are or your country is
experiencing a chaos and you are not an agent of a change, you do not have the rod. As many
pastors and ministers, you have in your country, how many of them have been able to turn things
around? Many God’s generals did it in the Bible. Will you not strive to make your own impact?
Elijah turned the whole nation from idolatry back to God. He demonstrated the unusual. People of
Israel saw fire lick water on the altar, burned sacrifices, wood which 450 Prophets of Baals and
400 Prophets of Groove could not do. They turned back to God. Can the words of your mouth
have any effect on your environs and nation? Elijah said by the words of his own mouth that there
would not be rain for three and a half years in Israel and later he reversed it and it happened. Are
you able to do this yet? Think about it very well and if you are unable, say this prayer seven times
with concentration:
By the power that is in the name of Jesus, I possess the rod to make an impact
on my Generation in the name of Jesus.
Man of God, if you have the rod, you will be announced by it. You do not need to shout your name
and the name of your ministry more than necessary in the media. The mission of the rod will
reveal you as one of the God’s generals for your generation. Many men of God seek fame through
the posting of more than enough postal bills and through some other ways but alas, they have little
or nothing to offer their generation.
What makes distinction through the gospel and other ordinary religions? The difference is the
word and authority in the use of the rod.
There is an outstanding difference between the empowerment in the spiritual backside of the
desert and thework of the acquired rod. On the Mountain in the context of our study about life and
ministry of Moses, power brings an endowment for service and a divine strength to operate for
God. You may be able to function for God, render acceptable services for him even before
reaching the Mountain. It also insures you divinely against the assault of the enemy and envy of
your contemporaries. For example, the endowment upon Moses reacted when his brother and
sister; Aaron and Mariam envied him. Also in Number 12 and 16, power acted and fought for

him while Korah, Dathan and Abiram stood against him. All of these are acquired at the backside
of desert. In Exodus 8 – 12, the rod wrought signs, wonders and great authority in the hand of
Moses in Egypt.
God told him at another occasion to stretch the rod over the sea and the sea was parted before the
children of Israel. The rod performs a great task that affects a nation for God. Say this until you
start sweating:
Authority that has never been released upon any man in history for the purpose of the gospel, I
receive it in Jesus name.
