A tale of Bat-eating lamogi communities of guruguru hill.
Amuru district in Northern Uganda is known for millet and sorghum production. Residents
are striving to revive agriculture which had significantly declined due to insecurity caused
by the LRA war.
But in a remote part of this area of Acholiland lies a humble beautiful village called
Guruguru in Lamogi sub-county. To some of the residents here, bats are a delicacy yet

4. How Uganda beat Ebola in 2000: How Gulu residents battled the outbreak
The year 2000 has no fond memories for many people in Gulu district. A deadly disease
that was later found to be Ebola, had taken root in the district killing over 200 people. In
