A group was deciding who to keep and kick out from a colony. They decided to keep a botanist scientist to help with farming, a lawyer to help make laws, and a general practitioner doctor to care for injured people. An army officer with some mental instability was also kept to enforce laws. Those kicked out included a Catholic priest who couldn't help with reproduction, a drug dependent married couple, a single mother and child who were too many mouths to feed and couldn't be separated, an elderly woman who had lived her life, a disabled person who couldn't help much with daily chores, a welfare dependent person perceived as lazy, and a professor as they already had a lawyer.
