1. The colour scheme and layout was answered nearly all the same with a simplistic but
effective design and bright blue and white colours which most likely reflect the colours
of the college and the images that were wanted were of images around the colleges, of
students or anything taken by students. Most wanted a mixture of a social but also
academicals magazine which opens up what can go in the magazine. For the title I gave a
variety of options which they would like to see but I also gave them the option of
making one of their own, this result was a variety but most of the answers were either
Download or Connected which is mostly the idea of downloading the new information
or staying connected in college.
I think I got a variety of my target demographic of both genders and a similar age to
answer my questionnaire and I think I got an idea of what the magazine will look like.
That I will have a variety of content that will appeal to the reader and coverlines, a
simplistic but effective layout and bright blue and white colours to represent the similar
colours of the college, also around the price of £1, a mixture of academic and social type
magazine and also an idea that the magazine will either be called download or will be
called connected.
