ABSTRACT
The purpose of this research was to develop Thai Language instructional
activities based on synectics instructional model for enhancing creative writing ability
of Prathom Suksa 6 students. The subjects were 23 Prathom Suksa 6 students in the
second semester of the academic year 2005, at Chumchon Ban Nonghing School, under
the Office of Nong Khai Educational Service Area 3. They were selected by purposive
sampling technique. The One-Group Pre-test - Posttest Design was utilized in this
study. The data were analyzed by t-test.
The results of this research were as follows :
1. The Thai Language instructional activities based on synectics
instructional model consisted of six major steps : preparation, familiar analogy, personal
analogy, compressed conflicst, creation and presentation.
2. The posttest average score of creative writing ability of the students
learned through the Thai Language instructional activities based on synectics
instructional model was higher than the pre-test average score at the .01 level of
significance.
7. 3. The posttest average score of learning achievement of the students
learned through the Thai Language instructional activities based on synectics
instructional model was higher than the pre-test average score at the .01 level of
significance.
