Mists of Pandaria
While most players will be happy to run through all of the single player content on their own,
there are many players who will want to experience everything with a group. There are some
advantages and disadvantages to traveling around with a group, but ultimately sticking with a
constant group should help you level faster and reach the best content at level 90.
Composition
The ideal group composition varies a little bit depending on what you are trying to accomplish
with your group, but if you will be doing both quests and dungeons with the same group, or even
just dungeons, you will want a dungeon friendly group. This means that you should have a tank,
a healer and plenty of DPS in your party all the time.
Spec
The most effective group will be one that makes use of the dual specialization ability. While you
are out questing everyone should be in their top damage spec. When you jump to a dungeon
you should switch over to a specialization that is optimal for dungeon play. This means that
warriors should be switching between arms and protection, and priests between shadow or disc
and holy.
Questing
By questing as a group many of the quests are going to go by much faster. Any of the kill quests
should only take a few minutes at the most, the only quests that will really slow you down are
the ones that require each of you to collect items. By working with teammates you should be
able to level up much faster than you would be able to on your own.
Dungeons
If you decide to level purely through dungeons you should not have a problem accomplishing
this. With a set group the dungeons should be very easy to go through and you will all have
excellent gear which will make the progression even quicker. You will have to repeat the same
dungeon several times in order to advance to level 90, but for people who love going through
dungeons this is the ideal way to go.
PVP
PVP is the last method to level up with a group and it is one of the most effective, especially if
you get together larger groups of 10 or more people. With a set group you should have no
problem dominating the battlegrounds and that means huge amounts of experience for
everyone involved. On top of that, you will have plenty of points to spend for PVP gear when
you finally reach the level cap.

2. Although many people would not want to level up as a group, and others will not know people to
accomplish this with, if you do decide to level as a group you can reap all the benefits that come
with it and reach the level cap that much faster.
