May 26th, 2014, is an historical day for the people of India. Bharatheeya Janatha Party
lead by the then Chief Minister of Gujarat, Shri Damodar Das Narendra Modi came
into power with an absolute majority. 30 years of coalition politics came to an end. The
incumbent UPA government lead by Congress, infamous for the numerous scams came
to an end. The dynastic Congress ended up with 44 seats, making it ineligible for having a

lead by the Congress using the numbers in the Rajya Sabha. This
ensured that the bills passed by the Lok Sabha are stalled in the Rajya
Sabha.
The government is successful in conveying the delaying tactics of the
opposition and the Congress, to the people of the country and it is
well accepted by them. But the government is not trembling before
the anti-development agenda and delaying tactics of the opposition
and the Congress, it went ahead with many initiatives for the safety,
security and prosperity of the country and its people. Below is the
