2. How can I immigrate to Austria?
You can come to Austria:
as an international student
as a business investor
as an employee of an Austrian-based company (i.e. you have a job
waiting for you here
or through quota immigration
Residence permits/visas are also available for:
Rotation workers
Direct relatives of a family member already in Austria (wife, husband, child)
Professionals in shortage occupations (refer to http://goo.gl/DKATZ3 for more
information)
3. If I come as an investor, what is the
minimum investment amount?
The great news is that - unlike other countries - there is no
minimum requirement!
Commercial real estate value deals are quick to sell - be prepared to act fast!
Your investment has to meet certain criteria - we pre-screen our offers to suit
your migration needs.
That means more individuals (from various professional backgrounds)
can qualify for a residence permit.
Keep in mind:
4. Can I get a residence permit if I buy
property in Austria?
If you are investing in private, residential property - no.
But there are other options with real estate.
Consult with your preferred migration specialist for more information.
5. Will we have access to health care
services and school?
Yes! Your health insurance plan will give you access to health
care/medical facilities. And children living in Austria must
study at least until the 9th school year.
6. What is the cost of living in Austria?
This is quite subjective - it depends on your personal lifestyle
and priorities.

Yes, you do. But don't worry - it really isn't as bad as it sounds.
You won't have to be fluent or the equivalent of a native speaker.
It is the most widely spoken first language in Europe!
Economically and politically, it's one of the most important languages in the world!
To get started, you just need to know the basics. You'll learn the rest (and
improve quite naturally) through immersion and regular use once you get
here.
Need convincing? Here's why learning German is a great idea:
8. How long does it take to receive an
Austrian residence permit?
It depends on what you're applying for and is best assessed on a
case-by-case basis.
Theoretically, it can take anywhere from 3 to 18 months.
