Hello, hello. It’s the 20th of September and this marks a month since I have been
releasing the Answer Secrets reports. I hope they have motivated you to try out
some new methods and even find something more suitable to your current
business.
Without further ado, let’s begin.
From the beginning I said that these reports will not only cover Yahoo Answers
but also create links with other systems. Since affiliate marketing is a pretty big
part of Yahoo Answers, today I will be talking about a technique I discovered
about four weeks ago, which has gone on to make me $1800 since. It’s a little bit
controversial but is still perfectly legal as far as I know.
You see the problem with the current economic climate has led people to begin
compromising quality on price. Time and time again, I have seen internet
marketers or regular real world shoppers settling on something of significantly
lower quality just because it has a catchy title and is a couple of bucks cheaper.
Since price is now an even more influential factor in decision making than it
originally was, lots of businesses have started selling counterfeit or imitation
items for pennies on the dollar and making BIG bucks! In fact, you don’t need to
look any further than the dollar stores and fast food outlets. People don’t have
enough money to go to fancy restaurants so they settle for McDonalds instead,
consequently McDonalds has seen a global increase in revenue over the last
couple of years.
Moreover, with the media constantly reminding us about saving people are going
to dollar stores to skimp on their household items.
What I’m getting at with this is that before buying people are looking around for
better deals (even for an item they are convinced they want). As a result, coupon

websites have seen a huge rise in popularity (Google bought Groupon for $1
billion).
When selling affiliate products, YOU need to become the middle man in this case.
Find people who are looking for your affiliate product (usually with 1000+ online
searches) and give them a better deal than the retail price.
The process (read this part carefully)
Before selecting an affiliate product to promote look for these first:
- The product has constant interest. To find this out type in your affiliate
product’s name into the Google Keyword Tool and see how many broad
and exact searches it receives per month. More than 1000 and it’s pretty
popular.
- Contact the owner or manager of the affiliate program and ask them if
affiliate discounts (i.e. coupons) are offered.
If the two options above fit your criteria then you can go ahead, otherwise find
another affiliate product to promote.
- Use an application like HTTrack to clone the official product’s sales page.
- Purchase a domain with the name of your affiliate product but get another
extension (i.e. .net, .org, .im, .biz etc)
- Upload the cloned website, change whatever details you want around on
the page.
- Use your title tag to create your primary keywords. These should be
[product title] and [product title] + [“discount”]
- I’m not going to go into basic SEO or SEO strategies in this report because
by this stage you should have an idea of some of the small things you can
do to help your rankings. So either read the previous reports or send me an
email. However, since the primary keyword which is the product name is
going to be far less competitive it will be much easier to rank. The traffic
that will be arriving at this page will be HIGHLY targeted traffic of people
who are ready to buy.

- On your new sales page, place something about the ‘limited’ discount
(using the coupon given to you by your vendor) and link the buy now
button directly to your affiliate link. If you are using Plimus or Ejunkie as
part of your affiliate system, you can link directly to the cart/buy now form
so they will be none the wiser. I’m sure there are other checkout services
that allow you to link directly to the button as an affiliate but these are the
two I use.
This way next time somebody searches for your product and your page appears
either second or third in the results with the product name + ‘discount’ in the
title, they will clickthrough and if the website looks identical will probably
purchase and you will get a commission.
Do this for a couple of products and you should expect a pretty consistent stream
of affiliate commissions. You can also go ahead and implement some of the
promotion options talked about in previous reports to get these affiliate clones
receiving traffic.
