Breast Cancer Help And Survivors
1. Breast Cancer Help And Survivors
In case you feel any type of bump what so ever, please don't wait. My sister and I 've a continuous
custom to buy items that support research and breast cancer awareness. Ruth has, to her credit,
more than 900 prizes.
In my article yesterday, I stated that I would appreciate anybody who is willing to share their
personal breast cancer story to PM me or leave it in the comment section. This could either be
yourself, a friend, a loved one anyone in your life. I think that by not allowing this disease to be a
faceless one more people would stand and join the fight against breast cancer. After all, strength in
numbers right? My goal is to share a story a day the whole month. I also said breast cancer
awareness shouldn't be a month, but year round, so as long as people's stories are coming in I will
share them. I may not even make the story a day, but I hope we can do this together and do a story a
day all month at minimum.
After that first biopsy revealed no clear margins -- they hadn't gotten all the cancer -- I had more
surgery. The excisional biopsy was an attempt to get the whole thing out. A modified radical
mastectomy was determined to be needed because the cancer had also spread. Realize, it's not
cancer in breast tissue that kills you; it's cancer cells that metastasize to vital organs. All of the
follow-up tests continue to show no recurrence.
Local sisters, Kasey Kemmerer and Kelli Leatherman, both of Fayette County, have been impressed
to show their love and support to their mother, Susan Kemmerer as she continues to fight breast
cancer. Susan Kemmerer is a Cancer Story who has completed surgery and chemo; but is still taking
radiation. She says the medication she takes was not even available until recently. Kelli and Kasey
were inspired to conduct this ride so that these drugs will be made available to breast cancer
patients.
Well, the battle started. I saw profound dreams and messages in my meditations. In the dream I was
told that I will win this battle by May 09th. And, indeed, all my procedures finished by May 18th
(ooops, perhaps my angels/guides made a small mistake). Oh, the physical aspect of having cancer
was quite an experience. I felt like was pregnant again =0) All this mood changing, sometimes bone
pain, other medical stuff you don't want to know about . BUT... I just refused to pay much attention
to the cancer, I didn't change my life style (well, I stopped going to yoga class and to the
Metropolitan Opera) and I continued to work with my jewelry. I did my best to satisfy my customers
and receive a positive energy from them.
A stroke patient an autistic person and a person with agoraphobia an abnormal fear of Tyler
Robinson Cancer open space or places were among the people highlighted in the article.
I hang out mostly at Your Portable Empire Island, although we hold our famous Master Mind
meeting at a Portable Empire Island Member's cozy home every other Wednesday.
There is a lot more to the story which I will spare you unless you ask, but this article is simply to
give some actual information gathered by one who has lived thru it and emerged well and
'opinionated' on the other side.
2. So how can we now turn to women and advise them not to perform self-exams or get mammograms?
This all seems senseless to me. If it is to save a buck for insurance companies, I ask will it save
money when thousands of women who could have had a test are lying in hospital beds dying? I don't
think so. We came this far in the fight against breast cancer. Cancer that if caught earlier enough
can oftentimes be treated with amazing success. Why look back?
