A friend is someone that you can talk
to. A good friend listens to what others
have to say.

It makes a person feel good inside
when I take the time to talk to them
and to listen to them. It lets them know
that I care about them.

Next time I see one of my friends, I will say
hello and ask them a question. I will try to
wait and listen to their reply.
8. How can you or your students
effectively use this in PowerPoint?
I found this technique very interesting. I have never
used it before. I have added sound clips before, but
always using the sound icon to activate the sound. I
like the “mystery” of not knowing which pictures
might activate a sound, action or video. This might
work very well on an interactive white board –
allowing students to discover the page. Personally,
it seems like a lot of extra work, when you could
quickly add a hyperlink. I will probably use triggers
again, but will definitely need more practice to
become more efficient.
