- 3. VW is allabout being the best VW, as if you have not heard of this car co. An unbelievably wonderful car manufacturer. This business has plenty of vehicles both innovative and classic. Take the VW beetle for example. This was the first car to roll off of the production line. It is still around today, however it is a more modern style.
- 4. 1937 • VW wasestablished in 1937. Interestingly what made this manufacturer come around had a little something to do with a certain Hitler and his Nazi movement. Vehicle s in Germany were up market and what goes with posh is a high price tag. This meant they were only owned by them who could afford it. What Hitler therefore requested was a car to be built that consisted of a fairly basic budget design and able to carry 2 grown ups and two kids in some kind of safety and comfort. This car is defiantly a classic VW and is very sort after with so many clubs and sites dedicated to the Beetle. However, though this kind of iconic car bought VW plenty of success in 73 the business was running into trouble, their type 4 and 3 automobiles they had released sold in alot lesser numbers than the Beetle which also had huge reductions in sales. Luckily VW were the owners of Audi, who of course produced water cooled engines and assisted in paving the way for the huge success that was to come for vw.

- 6. More cars • Wewelcomed the Passatt in late 73, basically a hatch back take of the Audi 80. This was closely followed by the Scirrocco in 74. This car was based on the not yet released Golf. The Golf was the pinnacle of VW. This vehicle was to be one of the best cars of all time. It had beautiful Italian design for the eyes and of course utterly amazing build quality and reliability from the Germans. This automobile has been around for 38 years and is still a favourite among both drivers and enthusiasts. The late 1990’s is when VW acquired three super car manufactures, these were Lamborghini, Bentley, and Bugatti. It was huge for VW and they wasted no time. Audi quickly launched a slimmed down Lamborghini range such as the Gallardo’s. Bentley gained success with the Continental range, this bought record sales for Bentley at 10000. As for Bugatti, well it is all about the incredible Veyron with its record breaking top speed of 254 miles per hour.
