2. I didn’t know what I was doing with
my life.
I just got out of college. I finished all the tests needed for me to work in the
United States.
I had fun here and there, too much fun actually.
At 21, I got pregnant with a baby girl.
3. I knew right then and there that it
was time to get serious.
For months, I searched for the perfect
job opportunity. After that, I realized what
I was made for.
4. So I scratched the thought of being a nurse and proceeded to
become a freelance writer. I knew that I lived for the Internet
and I lived for literature.
5. Still, it did not seem quite right.
Since I was a single mother, I
strived for creative freedom.
Additionally, it was a struggle to
earn pennies. I needed
something more stable and safe
because bills needed to get
paid.
6. Then I came across Lifebushido.
It was a part-time job but it had a lot of nice opportunities for me.
When I received that first email from Steve, I knew exactly what I was getting
into.
I became a hipster – a more matured and a more powerful hipster.
7. Lifebushido was the best thing that’s
ever happened to me.
• Everybody had their own creative input and output.
• There were no static hours.
• We had our own time. It was a great way to practice
time management and prioritization.
• I got to meet and team up with a group of amazing
people.
• I performed research tasks, goal setting and
communication-related tasks.
• Most of all, I got to learn new things. – and
Lifebushido convinced me that anything in this world
is REALLY possible.
