My idea of a new kind of reminder tool that shows reminders in a much less intrusive way and is intelligent enough not to disturb you when you are busy with tasks more important than the one it wants to remind you about.

 A Reminder tool (like MS-
Outlook reminder/many other
alert tools) but it shows the
alerts in a much less
intimidating way.

…because other tools:
 Show annoying pop-ups
 Don’t vanish till you click on
them
 Show up at predefined time,
don’t care if you are busy with
something more important
 Don’t care if you are actually
there to read the message

4. How?
 Shows reminders in the system
tray balloons
 Goes away automatically after
some time
 Does not go away if no user
activity detected

 Sends SMS on the mobile
phone of the user for
important/unattended alerts
(operator dependent feature)
 Has different icons for different
alert types e.g. Birthdays,
Meetings etc.

 Priorities can be set for different
alerts as well as Windows
programs. Shows an alert only if
the user is not working on a
higher priority program.
