  11. 11. Join a Family<br />Have a support system to help you through the semester.<br /><ul><li> A mix of members from different majors and different years with whom you’ll form close family bonds.
  12. 12. Get help in classes, advice about the DAT, and most importantly, a handful of friends.
  13. 13. Sign up online to be placed in your family unit and be prepared to have lots of fun.

  23. 23. Sign up online to be considered for placement with a dentist. Members are assigned dentists based on payment of dues, seniority, semesters in TPS, and response time.
  24. 24. You must be able to commit at least two hours straight each week

  27. 27. Sunday 9/25 from 1-2:30pm, SAC rooftop patio
  28. 28. You will be placed into groups and asked to decorate cupcakes following a certain theme
  29. 29. No prior cupcake decorating experience required
  30. 30. And you get to eat cupcakes!
  31. 31. Signups close THIS FRIDAY at 11pm
  32. 32. Head to Lake Austin and KAYAK with your TPS friends!
  33. 33. Sunday 10/2 from 10-11am at Lake Austin

  50. 50. Ongoing Commitments<br />Donate your time to help someone else.<br /><ul><li> Act as a mentor/tutor at Webb Middle School various times throughout the day, all week long
  51. 51. Teach science experiments to elementary school kids at Young Scientists on Fridays (starting 9/9) from 1:30-3:30pm at Walnut Creek Elementary School

  53. 53. Tutor at Reagan High School various times throughout the day, all week long

  61. 61. Sign ups are based on a Volunteer Spot calendar, which will be linked on our website
  62. 62. If you sign up for the first shift, you must also sign up to get the banner. If you sign up for the last shift, you must also sign up to return the banner.

  64. 64. TPS Newsletter<br />Keep dental schools up-to-date with what we’re doing.<br /><ul><li> New this semester: a newsletter designed for dental schools and UT administrators to keep them informed about what’s happening in TPS
  65. 65. Submit an article idea to Sierra for approval. If you get the green light, write a short article for a PR point!
