2. Your Tweetin’ Heart
By: Maureen Dowd
This article was about Anthony Weiner and how after being
caught in a Twitter sex scandal basically had his political
career ruined.

3. Techniques
The author used a lot of pop culture references which
helped me relate to the point she was making.
I agreed with the point she was trying to make because
she helped me understand what she was saying by using
references about other men who have cheated on their
wives like Tiger Woods.
4. Imagine a world without Harry
Potter
By: John Granger
This article was talking about what the world would have
been without Harry Potter, and how J.K. Rowling’s books
have changed media.

5. Techniques
A technique that the author used was describing what the “Potter Brand” is. Potter
Brand is basically any movie or book that follows the same pattern as the Harry
Potter books. He also talked about how it wasn’t a new idea. The Potter Brand
before Harry Potter were books like Lord of the Rings and Chronicles of Narnia,
and before that they were different books.
I agreed with what the author was saying because without Harry Potter books
I probably wouldn’t be as interested in books as I am now. After reading this
article I started noticing the “Potter Brand” in movies and books.
