1. Education, Strength Weakness and life long learner Chrystal M. Dubay Argosy University PSY492 April 20, 2010 Mary Viventi
2. Education In 2005 I graduated at Shoemaker High school in Killeen Texas. In 2006 I started classes online at Axia University Of Phoenix and graduated in 2008. In 2008 I started classes online with Argosy University and I am currently taking my last three classes and will graduate April 24, 2010. I plan to start school in August of 2010 with my Master’s degree and get my MFT at Argosy University ground campus.
3. Strength's I am a very good listener and can use critical thinking to solve problems. I am very focused in life and when I put my mind to something I go for it. I express my feelings, opinions, thoughts, needs and rights. Never waiver because I believe in my ability to stick to my values; no matter what anybody thinks. I am resilient. I can easily deal with inevitable ups and downs of daily life. Knowing that I will always bounce back.
4. Weakness I’m sometimes disorganized and I tend to try to be organized and then become unorganized. I procrastinate sometimes and I wait till the last minute to do things, but I always look at it as my best work when rushed. I’m shy at times especially when I am out of comfort zone, but I get use to it after a while. I sometimes blame myself for things and feel that I put to much pressure on myself at times.
5. Life Long Learner Through my life I have always loved to learn new things and I like to do school work and oddly enough I liked homework as well. Through my younger years I did well in my classes a variety of grades from A’s to C’s, but I never did very well with testing. As I came into college I started to like school work and learning even more espeically in the field that I wanted to work in. Learning about Psychology theroies and history was very instresting to me. Learning the varies of mentally illness and how these maybe treated intriged me and so here I am today making another big step to life long learner in contiuning my education after I just finished 4 years of college. Everyday is a new life long learning expereince and there is so much to learn even in old age.
