3. Features and the
structure of the
Titanic
The Titanic was known as the ship of dreams. This ship cost $7 million to build.
More than 15,000 men worked on building the ship. The overall speed of the
Titanic was 26 miles per hour. The Titanic was designed to carry 64 life boats to
stop the cluttering of the ship. On its voyage it only carried 20.
These are pictures of the third class people. They didn’t have it as well of as
the first class. They were also under the first class as in a floor below them. The
first class tickets for this ship cost $4,350 back then. Today they are $69,000.
4. Robert Hinches steered the Titanic into the
iceberg. Hinches continued to work on board of
ships after the sinking.
