Objectives of Bio-mass Studies
 To assure the project developer and financier that
sufficient quantities of suitable materials are available
long-term and at a price that the project can justify.
 Availability
   • Quantities of suitable materials
   • Assess industry trends which may impact availability
   • Assess competition and alternate uses for the materials
 Cost
   • Determine the current market price (range) for the products
   • Assess transportation cost from specific sources to determine
     lowest delivered material cost mix

     The
       Parton
        Group, Inc.
Bio-mass Assessment
             3-Step Methodology
 Research
      • Desk-top research to identify potential fuel types, quantities
        and sources of materials
 Survey
      • Phone survey of all potential sources with the area
 Validation
      • Based on the findings of the survey phase field validation
visits are made to most likely material sources to verify
quantities, qualities and if possible current customers and
        pricing.
