office in San Angelo, Texas. Under the direction of chief executive
officer Pieter Bergstein, Standard Energy Services's parent
company is one of the oldest private firms of its type in eastern
New Mexico and west Texas.

Standard E&S is always looking for ways to better serve its
customers. For this reason, the company participates in the
Permian Basin International Oil Show (PBIOS) in Odessa, Texas.

Held every even-numbered year, the PBIOS had humble
beginnings in 1940, with only 35 exhibitors. As opposed to other
events of its type, the PBIOS operates as a non-profit educational
organization. Participants attend in order to renew friendships,
discover the newest technology, and do business. In 2012, some
700 companies took part.

Despite some hard times for the oil industry in the past, the show
has continued to grow significantly. It has become one of the
world's largest meeting places for the field. Planning is under way
for the next exhibition in 2016.
