Step by step directions for using Kidspiration

2. Creating a Concept Map
From the Starter
Menu, select
Picture to open a
new blank project

3. Getting Started
Immediately type the
main idea of the
project in the center
oval
Then select Add
Symbol, to create a
symbol for a
subtopic

4. Adding Symbols
Before selecting Add
Symbol, be sure to
highlight the symbol
you are linking
from, otherwise a
new symbol may be
added in the wrong
place

5. Linking a Symbol
If by chance you
added a symbol and
it was not linked to
another symbol, just
select link symbol
Then direct the arrow
to link two symbols
together.
