分科会 Ⅰ
Presentation Session I
A 文字授業のヒント
ディルシャーニ・ジャヤティラカ
日本語にはひらがな、カタカナ、漢字の三種類の文字があります。どちらにも覚えなければ
ならないことがたくさんあるのは特徴です。いつも学習者の暗記力に任せている文字学習の楽し
い教え方がないでしょうか。学習者があきずに勉強できるようにどのような工夫をしたらいい
でしょうか。一緒に考えましょうか。
Hints of Teaching characters
Dilshani Jayathilake
There are three types of characters in Japanese, called Hiragana, Katakana, Kanji. The speciality
in all three of the above is having lots of areas to remember. Currently our lessons depend on the
memory of student. In this session, Let’s think about ways to create our lessons by drawing their
attraction and less relying on students memory power.
B アニメから学べる日本語
ディラーニ・ラトナーヤケ
皆さん、教室でアニメを使って授業をしたことがありませんか。そのような活動をする時間が
なくて困っているでしょう。ですから、アニメを効果的に教室で使える方法を知りたい方は参加
してみてください。
Learning Japanese by using cartoon animation
Dilani Rathnayake
Have you used cartoon animation in your classroom to make your lessons more interesting? Are you
worrying about not having enough time to do that kind of activities? So, in this session, you can have an
idea about how to use cartoon animations effectively in the class room.
C 読み力を育てる「トップダウン読み」の活動
シラーニ・コロンバゲ
トップダウンモデルの読み方の中から「予想の力を養う活動」「スキミングの技術を養う活動」
、 、
「スキャニングの技術を養う活動」を取り上げてみて見ましょう。

Beneficiary Marking of Benefactive Constructions in Japanese and Sinhala
Tetsuya Miyagishi
Beneficiaries of Japanese benefactive constructions“–te ageru/kureru”are marked in“ni”or“notameni”. Do
you know how to use each properly? On the other hand, beneficiaries of Sinhala benefactive construction“–la
denawa”are also marked in“Ta”or“wenuwen”, each of which correspond to “ni”and“notameni”respectively.
Is the proper use of each the same as those of “ni”and“notameni”? Let us think about the question together in
the presentation.
I would like to introduce its content. Let’s discuss about communication and cross-cultural understanding.
Why do we Sri Lankans study Japanese
-Motives of Sri Lankan Japanese learners for learning Japanese-
Udara de Silva
There is always a reason which makes people do things. The “desire” to do something, or the “motivation”
helps us continue what we want to do. Especially, in the case of learning a foreign language, the reason as to
why a person learns the language and the motivation to do so is extremely important in the learning process.
Language learning motivation also has a close relationship with achievement and sustained learning. In this
research, language learning motivation of Sri Lankan university students will be taken into consideration. The
presentation is based on the results of the pilot survey on Japanese language learning motivation.

F 読解への異なったアプローチ
伊勢田涼子
文章を読んで理解できたかどうかはかる方法として、質問に答えるというやり方が広く使われて
います。しかし、他にもやり方はあるでしょう。今回は質問に答えるというのではなく、質問文
を作るという方法で読解の力をはかってみようと思います。こっちの方が難しいと思いますが、
日本語の先生なら、必要なことです。
A different approach for reading comprehension
Ryoko Iseda
Generally, for reading comprehension, reading sentences/ paragraph, understanding the meaning and then
answering the questions pattern is used.
However, there are other methods too. This time rather than answering the questions, let’s think about making
questions instead. This might be difficult but it is necessary for a Japanese language teacher.
