 The Romans come from
Rome in Italy.
 The Roman Empire is so
big.
 The Romans invaded
Britain because they
wanted our metal.

to invade Britain and
failed.
 Julius Caesar wanted
our coppers and gold
metal and jewellery.
 Julius Caesar was an
emperor.

dagger to protect
themselves.
 They wore shoulder
plates to protect
their shoulders.
 The Romans had a
shield to protect
their body.

themselves from getting hit
from the bow and arrow.
 The Romans got the name

Colosseum.
 Romans killed each other.

 The emperor said who died or
who lived.
 The Roman Gladiators died if
the emperor said.
 The Roman Gladiators had a
sword to kill people.
 The Gladiators wear silver all
over them.

thousand years old.
 Animals were killed here.
 The Romans fought in the
Coliseum.
 The Coliseum is still here in
Italy

they were sick.
 When they were sick, they
kept on eating after they
were sick this was called
vomitarial.
 Poor people ate bread.

10.  The Romans would do there own
business at the Roman baths.
 The Romans would hang about at
the Roman baths.
 The Romans washed themselves
with oil.
