2. 1. Lunch. All the restaurants around my office closed, which leaves me the over-priced cafe downstairs, two steakhouses, Boston Market, and Jersey Mikes across Powers Ferry for lunch. Today, however, none of these are appealing. There used to be a shuttle bus that would run you down to Moe's or the mall. Apparently, it runs no longer. Lame.
3. My apartment is less than three miles from my office. When I moved to Atlanta, this was intentional. Guess how long it takes me on the bus to get there? 45 minutes. I have to take the 10b or the 50 to the CTC and then take a 10 up Cobb Parkway. Then I have to walk nearly a mile, just so I can hang out at my apartment for an hour and a half, check the mail and feed Mystery, then walk back to the bus stop to catch the 10 to go to the shelter. In the morning, this whole transit thing rules. In the afternoon, not so much. Lame. 2.
6. What the h*ll is that? CCT has no service on Sundays. That means if I want to take the bus, I have to walk two miles to CTC to catch the 12 to Midtown. Do you know how sucky of a walk that is on Cobb and Spring? Thank goodness I live close enough to walk. LAME.
7. There are no sheltered bus stops around Wildwood, my office complex. So if it's raining, I am wet. Also lame. 5.
