The Characteristics and Advantages of Spo2 Sensors

The SpO2 instrument includes the three main components: probe, the functional module and
the display portion. For most of the monitors on the market, the SpO2 detection technology
has been very mature. The SpO2 value obtained by the monitor is accurate or not, largely
related to the probe, in which many factors affect the probe detection, the probe detection
devices, medical wire, the connection process will affect the test results.




First, detecting device of spo2 sensor: the light emitting diode used for the signal detection
and the photodetector element are the core components of the probe and they are also the
keys to determine whether the detection number is accurate. The theoretical red wavelength
is 660nm, and the detected numerical value is infrared light is ideal when the red wavelength
is 940nm, but due to the complexity of the process of manufacturing, there is the total
deviation on the produced red wavelength. The magnitude of the deviation of the wavelength
of the light will affect the detected value. Therefore, the light emitting diode and the
photodetector device manufacturing process become very important.

design can be avoided the interference caused by the light leakage of the movement of the
finger.




Fourth, the finger folder of spo2 sensors: the folder uses the fire-rated non-toxic ABS
material, sturdy and difficult to be damaged. Shading plate is designed on the finger clip,
which can better shield peripheral light source.
Fifth, one of the main reasons why the SpO2 is damaged is the loose spring, the insufficient
elasticity and the insufficient clamping force. R-RUI takes the plated carbon steel springs with
high tension, which is reliable and durable.




Sixth, the terminal in the SpO2 instrument: In order to ensure a reliable and durable
connection of the probe, and considering the attenuation in the signal transfer process on a
connection terminal with monitor, we use special technology plated terminals.




Seventh, connection technology: the connection process of probe is also very important for
the test results, and the position of pad has been tested, in order to ensure the correct
position of the detection device transmitter and receiver.




Eighth, we have to ensure that the SpO2 value is between 70% and 100% in the precision,
the error is not more than plus or minus 2%, and accuracy should be higher, making the
detection results more reliable.

  • 1. The Characteristics and Advantages of Spo2 Sensors The SpO2 instrument includes the three main components: probe, the functional module and the display portion. For most of the monitors on the market, the SpO2 detection technology has been very mature. The SpO2 value obtained by the monitor is accurate or not, largely related to the probe, in which many factors affect the probe detection, the probe detection devices, medical wire, the connection process will affect the test results. First, detecting device of spo2 sensor: the light emitting diode used for the signal detection and the photodetector element are the core components of the probe and they are also the keys to determine whether the detection number is accurate.
