Proposal for a movie of Rom. This letter was sent to Hasbro, Marvel and Disney in 2011. The first two has give back the printed presentation saying that no one read it.

The story begins in the future
(Rom #30, p. 9), when Mack
Killburn, an reporter of
Washington D.C. is haunted by a
Dire Wraith and two Hellhounds
of Dark Nebula.
He is saved by a cop, that
surprising the aliens, kill them
with the help of Killburn.
The reporter tells to the police
that is better not tell what
happened and runs for meet the
sole being that can help the
mankind.

We then conducted three years into the past,
while the narrator talks about an alien invasion
that is occurring for several decades without the
knowledge of mankind.
People are being replaced by aliens, that slowly
put their agents in positions of power in human
society.
“While we think if aliens come to Earth one day, in
fact they are already among us”.

A meteor falls to Earth, bringing Rom inside.
Before entering the atmosphere, two discs come
out of the meteor and head for the poles of Earth.
These discs allow the Analyzer to create a three
dimensional map of the world, showing where the
Dire Wraiths are.

Meteor falls near Clairton, a fictional city of West
Virginia.
Clairton is used as Dire Wraith basis for having
abandoned mines and by staying close to
Washington D.C.
In a town in the region a father prays for a miracle
for her daughter sick with cancer. He sees the
falling of meteor.

Rom meets Brandy Clark that that, scared,
almost falls into a ravine with his car.
Rom save her life and analyze her. After seeing
that she is not a Dire Wraith, he creates a globe of
energy that indicates the presence of Dire Wraiths
in Clairton. Then he takes off toward the town.
Brandy knows where it goes and tries to follow
him with the car.

Rom go down in the central square of Clairton.
The crowd stops curious. He invokes the
analyzer. Wraiths disguised as humans screaming
that he'll shoot to cause a riot.
Rom lays the beams of the Analyzer over all
running desperate.
Finally it detects two Dire Wraiths and dispatches
to Limbo using his Neutralyzer.
The scenes soon are seen on Youtube and the
news runs through Facebook and Twitter.

Brandy arrives at the time that everyone looks for
a place to hide. Rom sees her, grabs her and
takes off.
Steve Jackson gets his car and (try to) run after
Rom.
The delegate calls to ask for reinforcements.
Other undercover Dire Wraiths alert agents into
Pentagon.

Rom sits a few miles away from Clairton. Brandy
tries to escape, but he holds, without harming her.
Using his Translator, he learns their language and
she learns his language.
He explains that the people she saw die were not
human and does not have died, been banished to
Limbo.
Then he uses a translator to create a virtual reality
simulation that tells the story of the Spaceknights.

See, they were not exploring other worlds, they
were leading the way for their prosperity to others
without charge.

decimated by fleet of Dire Wraiths.

armada was a Dire Wraith Master threat of
invading Galador.
Rom says that galadorians did not know how to
fight for many centuries.

coordinates of Galador.
Thus, the Prime Director, ruler of Galador, asks
for volunteers to become cyborgs, able to fight.
Only a young man raises his hand: Rom.
The act of Rom inspires or compels others.
Thousand young people are selected from
volunteers, capable of surviving the surgery.

The galadorians are not warriors. They are
scientists, medicians, teachers, artists, poets,
writers …
So scientists in charge of the surgery resolve to
adapt the skills of each of the volunteers to the
powers of their armors.

of the Spaceknights

Without adequate time for training, the cyborgs to
take off and depart for intercepting the Dire
Wraiths before they reach the orbit of Gálador.

Brandy watches the great battle in space, where a
thousand Spaceknights facing the fleet of ten
thousand Dire Wraith spaceships.

Rom, a professional player and used to recite
poems becomes the leader in the battle, directing
his companions.
He uses the ability to teleport of your friend
Landra (nicknamed Starshine), to move quickly
Spaceknights from one starship to another.
An encrypted communication network allows all
Spaceknights to communicate with each other in
space.

We watched some Spaceknights struggle against
the entire crew of each Dire Wraith spaceship.
The Spaceknights appears close to the ships,
invade them and break down.
Then comes Rom and dispatches the Dire
Wraiths into Limbo with his Neutralizer.

Rom sees a ship who could pass by cyborgs and
moves towards Gálador. He tells his friend Karas,
the Firefall, that will stop it.
But Karas replied that Rom must lead the
Spaceknights and depart to intercept the ship.
Moments later the ship exploded, but Karas does
not return.

The highest point of the battle is the fight of Rom
against Deathwing.
Rom destroys the creature and the surviving ships
retreat quickly

The simulation is stopped when Rom feels the
army coming before it announces his arrival.
Rom asks Brandy to hide, as he tries to talk to the
military.
But an undercover Dire Wraith shoot him. As he
felt pain, Rom invokes its Analyzer to discover the
true identity of the attacker

Seeing the aparent gun, the colonel orders Rom
to play it on the floor, but the cyborg active it to
analyze them. The officer then orders his men to
open fire.
Rom faces and disarm all avoiding harming them.
He rips tanks, crosses flamethrowers and breaks
artillery pieces with his hands.

Brandy, hidden behind a rock, sees residents of
Clairton carrying a strange gun and preparing it to
shoot Rom in the back.
She comes over and tries to stop them from using
the gun while screaming for Rom to escape.
With its extended hearing, he hears Brandy, calls
the Neutralizer and shoots at people who would
attack him. The trail of dust on the ground shows
that they were Dire Wraiths.

Rom says to Brandy that he will come out there to
avoid exposing her to danger and tells her to
return to her home and to be careful who she
trusts.
Rom takes off and is persecuted by fighters. He
uses the Neutralizer to disable the weapons of the
aircrafts and runs at high speed.

We have two sequences of scenes scenes, which
occur later. The first shows Brandy trying to
explain what happened to Steve.
The second shows a meeting of U.S. President
with the some military ones and we can see by
the sudden change in eye color that some of them
are Dire Wraiths.

Finally, at night, we see the father of the girl with
cancer crying. Rom is hiding nearby and listen
carefully all that the man says to his wife.
Rom decides to enter the girl's bedroom and
discover what she has. The girl asks if he is an
angel when she sees him. He enables the
analyzer and sees that she has cancer. He then
uses the Neutralizer to cure her.
When her parents see the brightness of the beam,
they run to the room. The window is open and
Rom's gone. The girl stands up and says he feels
much better. She says that an angel to heal.

The last scene takes place on a hill, where we
see a figure looking at the moon. The narrator
says that aliens are hiding among us, leading
humanity to destroy in order to get hold of our
planet with ease. They may be here for centuries,
taking the form of important people and having
participated in the most tragic moments of
humanity. The narrator says that “they are among
us and only one person can stop them”.

The camera approaches the figure, which
suddenly turns their eyes bright for us and
invokes its analyzer. The movie ends with the
firing of the beam against the screen.
Cool, huh? I hope to watch in 3D.
