3. ‘Charlie bit me’ has had 130,808,324 views to date (03/11/09) since it was posted on youtube.com in 19th March 2007, it has received 249,252 comments including comments from people asking the parents of the children to post more funny clips of the two boys. 4. The ‘Charlie bit me’ clip was originally uploaded onto youtube.com by an English family in Buckinghamshire so that relatives in Colorado and California could see the two young boys. The video was undiscovered until 22nd November 2007 when it was featured in collegehumor.com where it was inducted onto the web hall of fame. By the end of 2007 the clip had reached a million views. As of 2009 it is the 4th most watched video clip on youtube in the UK. Many people are convinced that the clip was a setup but the boys father Howard says it was totally natural and is currently trying to make ‘Charlie bit me-again’ the prequel, which he thinks will put questions to rest. The video clip has spawned many spoofs, typically with the adults performing the roles of Harry and Charlie. Some use the original audio while others have actors recite the original lines. Background
