From: Ricky Smith CMRP – SMRP Chairman of the Oil, Gas, and Petrochemical
SIG

I wanted to cordially invite you to join our Special Interest Group for Oil, Gas, and
Petrochemical Industry. We will be hosting a membership meeting in conjunction with
the SMRP conference in St. Louis. Please join us on October 20, 2009 at 7:00pm for
this important business meeting.

This Special Interest Group will meet for the first time at the conference. The primary
focus of the meeting is to define who we are, and strategize just how we intend to
provide value to any Oil, Gas, or Petrochemical Maintenance and Reliability
Professionals in the World. Many ideas have already been presented by the
membership and we have only just started. We have an opportunity to make a large
impact in the maintenance and reliability community worldwide. Our goal is to capture
the day-to-day needs of our membership, and find ways to meet those requirements.

Below is a list of executive level professionals in our respective businesses who have
agreed to serve as Regional Directors and Chairpersons for our Special Interest
Group. We are striving to set ourselves apart worldwide. Come prepared to discuss
your needs with these experienced managers.

Morgan Wolfe (Louisiana Offshore Oil Port) – Vice Chairman
Richard Rockwood (ABB) – Secretary
Muyiwa Fakunle (Suncor) - Regional Director for Canada
Tom Dabbs (Allied Reliability)- Regional Director for the United States
Frank Sutcliffe (Shell) - Regional Director for Oman and UAE
Albertus Sijim (RASGAS) - Regional Director for Qatar and Bahrain
Nezar Shammas (Saudi Aramco) - Regional Director for Saudi Arabia, Lebanon,
Jordan, and Kuwait
Fortunatus Uudegbu (Exxon-Mobil) - Regional Director for Africa
Alberto Landeaux (Consultant) - Regional Director for South and Central America
Felix Laboy (CBM Company President) - Regional Director for the Caribbean
Michael Eisenbise (BP) - Director of Benchmarking and Metrics

Frank Sutcliffe from Oman, Global Reliability Technical Lead at Shell, will be our
guest speaker to kick off the meeting. I am sure you will enjoy Frank’s understanding
of maintenance and reliability. He is going to surprise us with the topic of his
presentation. Morgan Wolfe, Vice Chairman will assist in facilitating the meeting.

We would like all members and non-members to bring with them two items of interest
they consider are best practices in use at their home organization along with the
metrics used to measure these best practices. The plan is to share this information
with everyone. You do not need to use your company name or violate any corporate
policy. This sharing could easily pay for your trip to the SMRP Conference by
providing current day examples of reliability at work you could share with colleagues.

We also want you think about how the SIG could provide you value. We will consider
your ideas at the meeting.

The Regional Directors, Chairman and myself are excited about making a
contribution to the Oil, Gas, and Petrochemical industry membership.

Come Join Us!
