Logitech Harmony Touch Universal Remote with Color Touchscreen
1. I’ve have a few Harmony remotes and I acquired them over several years. They were the great
devices, but their interface and design always felt a little out-dated to me. Logitech changed all
that with their latest remote. They named it Harmony Touch and this is my review of it.

In a technology landscape filled with flat smartphones and tablets, universal remotes are one of
the last types of gadget decked out with a full suite of old-fashioned hard buttons. Or at least

The new Logitech Harmony Touch remote aims to bridge the gap between old-fashioned
clickers brimming with buttons and the new wave of buttonless tablets and smartphones — or, at

sports a 2.4-inch color touch screen flanked by fewer buttons than found on most previous

2. Harmony remotes (but far more than you’ll find on a tablet or phone).
The Logitech Harmony Touch is a nice improvement over the company’s previous universal
remote control. At $249, it’s $50 more than the remote it’s replacing, the Harmony One.
However, now that other remotes–including those from Logitech–can learn not only your viewing
habits, but help you share your viewing experience with friends, we can’t help but feel that the
Harmony Touch seems limited.
But what it does, it performs very well. It’s very comfortable, easy to use and adds some neat
gestures. For those who want to consolidate all their remotes into one, the Harmony Touch is
one of the better options.
