The MUNPARLAS (Muntinlupa, Parañaque, Las Piñas) Library Association, Inc.,
is pleased to invite you to attend the Association’s 2-Day ’14 National Summer
Conference themed on BiblioCARE, Biblioguidance and Developmental Bibliotherapy
for Libraries, Library Personnel and other Information Professionals.
This professional activity will be held on April 24-25, 2014 from 8am to 5pm at
St. Joseph’s Resthouse, Episcopal Mission Compound, Sagada, Mountain Province.
BiblioCARE ’14 is aimed at assisting libraries, library personnel and other information
professionals to:
1. utilize developmental bibliotherapy as a relationship strategy towards the love
for reading and lifelong learning of library people, clients and other guests;
2. effectively promote library services and products in a relationship-based
atmosphere that may attract clients to go back for repeat services; and,
3. be “breakthrough centers” where people feel at home while away from home,
learn new skills, meet and socialize with others and get practical help with some
of life’s essentials.

Backpacker’s Conference fee is Php5,100.00 inclusive of meals (except dinner),
conference kits and certificates.
For transportation from Manila to Sagada, and vice-versa, a chartered bus will be provided
priced at Php1,600.00 while accommodation at St. Joseph’s Resthouse is priced at
Php1,200.00 with hot & cold showers for two (2) days only.
