2. Roman Petushkov lost both of his legs in a car
accident in February 2006. But in September of
that same year he took an active part in both
Biathlon and Cross-Country Skiing competitions.
Since then, he's been on fire, racing to top
performances on the international
world sports stage.
3. In 2010 Dmitry Medvedev (the third President
of Russia) presented Roman the medal of the

4. February 2013 - IPC Athlete of the
Month
2013 He won the champion title in the
sprint category, sitting. Next day Roman
showed the best time (41:02.4.) the 15kilometre distance.(IPC Nordic Skiing

2011-12 He won 2 gold medals

2010 Vancouver Paralympics - he
won the silver
5. The Sochi 2014 Paralympic
Winter Games will take place
7-16 March. And Roman wants
to be the best again.

be a dream coming true!
