Charmed
The television series Charmed is about three sisters, born into The Power of Three. Their destiny is
to vanquish demons, warlocks and The Source of all Evil. Their powers have been descended
through the generations, from Melinda Warren, to their mother Pattie Halliwell.Prue, Piper and
Phoebe first inherited their powers when their grandmother, Grams, died, which lead to Phoebe
going into the attic to read a spell from The Book of Shadows. Prue died at the end of the third
season, which led to the discovery of their half-sister Paige.
Prue had the power of telekinesis and astral projection; she was also the eldest of the three sisters.
Prue’s teenage love, Andy, was killed by a demon; Prue found it hard to handle the transition from
a normal life to being a witch. Prue was killed by the demon Shax, The Source’s personal hit man.
Piper is the middle sisters; Piper had the powers of freezing time, and being able to blow people
and objects up. Piper married Leo, who was their whitelighter, their love was forbidden, but the
Elders agreed to their marriage if they could prove that it wouldn’t get in the way of their duties as
the defenders of the good. When Prue died, it took Piper a long time to come to terms with it, to
accept that Paige was her sister, and she could help restore The Power of Three. Piper and Leo
have a son called Wyatt, who is Twice-Blessed by the Elders. A man Chris appears in the manor at
the time Paige is about to be killed from the Titans, Leo realises that the only way to defeat the
Titans and to stop them from taking over the heavens, to turn the Charmed Ones, into Goddesses.
When the Titans have been defeated, the Elders decide that Leo should become an Elder, but he
will need to leave his family. Chris becomes the new whitelighter of the Charmed Ones. After Leo
has been an Elder for a while, Piper and his-self her put into the Land Limbo, by a darklighter,
this is where Piper falls pregnant with their second child. When Piper and Leo are returned, Paige
and Phoebe realise that Piper is pregnant. When Piper is near the end of her pregnancy, Chris tell s
her, he is her son and that he come from the future to stop Wyatt from turning evil. When Leo
learns that Chris is his son, it takes him a long time to come to terms with this, as Chris is angry at
him, for what he did to him in his past. By the time that Chris and Leo have reconciled, the
headmaster of the Magic School, Gideon, has killed Chris for trying to defend his older brother
Wyatt, who is still a toddler. When Leo finds out that Gideon killed Chris, he uses his Elder
powers to kill Gideon, this leads to the Avatars to try to turn him against the Elders and onto their
side. Leo becomes an Avatar, when Piper, Phoebe and Paige realise this they try to convince Leo

that their intentions are not for the greater good. When the Avatars are vanquished, Leo becomes
mortal.
Phoebe is also a middle sister of The Charmed Ones; her powers are premonition, Levitation, and
Empathy. Phoebe was the one who cast the spell to make them all witches. In the second series
Phoebe meets Cole Turner, who is actually the demon Balthazar, who was sent by the Source to
kill the Charmed Ones. Cole is unable to do this as he falls in love Phoebe. After Prue’s death,
Phoebe and Cole save an innocent, who turns out to be her half-sister Paige. When Cole
vanquished the Source of all Evil, when he wanted to kill the Phoebe and her sister, Cole ended up
taking in the Source’s powers, which made him the new Source. Cole tricked Phoebe into marrying
him, by using a binding spell; this led to Phoebe being the Queen of the Underworld. Whilst being
Queen, Phoebe falls pregnant, but Phoebe returns to her sisters, when she finds out that Cole killed
the innocent she was trying to protect. Phoebe and her sisters cast a spell and made a potion that
would kill Cole. Phoebe finds out that she is only pregnant because the Seer, cast a spell, but when
Cole was vanquished all of his powers when to the baby inside of Phoebe. The Seer takes the baby
from Phoebe, and Crowns herself the Source of all Evil, the sister vanquish her as well. When Cole
returns to Phoebe from the Wasteland, as he believes that they belong together, Phoebe has to
vanquish him for the last time.
Paige is introduced at the beginning of the fourth season, as the half-sister of Piper and Phoebe,
Paige is the daughter of Pattie and her whitelighter. As Paige is a half witch half whitelighter,
she is able to orb, heal and cast spells. Paige moves into the Manor, when Piper had finally
accepted her, Paige also quit her job so she could study The Book of Shadows to become a better
witch. Leo helps Paige come to the terms of the loss of her adoptive parents, as she believed she
was the reason they died and she lived, it turned out that she orbed herself to safety without the
knowledge of being a witch when she was seventeen years old. Paige never trusted Cole, and she
was proved right when he became the new Source and made Phoebe his Queen. After Gideon was
killed by Leo, the Elders wanted to close down the Magic School, as Paige didn’t want this to
happen; the Elders decided she would be the headmistress. When Leo became mortal, he took of
the role of running the Magic School, so that Paige would be able to fulfil her duties of being a
witch and whitelighter.

In the seventh season of Charmed, a demon called Zankou, tries to take in the Nexus, which is
keep underground of the Manor. To stop Zankou from controlling the Nexus, the sisters decide the
only way they can destroy the Zankou is to destroy the Nexus, but to do this they need to be inside
the basement the same time, Zankou takes in the Nexus. To make everyone believe that the sisters
are really dead, they cast an astral projection and cast the spell to kill Zankou without actually
being in the basement. The sisters then give themselves and Leo new identities, so they are able to
live their lives without defeating demons and having their lives in danger all the time.
Billie is a new witch, who is introduced in the eighth and last season. Paige is Billie’s
whitelighter, which leads to Paige teaching Billie everything she knows and to help defeat the
demons so that the sisters can lead a normal life. In return of this, the sisters help Billie find her
sister Christy who was taken by demons when they were small children. The sisters decide to
change back to their selves when they realise they will still be defeating demons. The sisters find
out they are being hunted by The Triad who had The Ultimate Power, the only people who would
be able to defeat the Charmed Ones. Leo is taken by an Angel of Destiny, who promises Piper that
he will be returned when they have defeated The Ultimate Power. Phoebe decides that she needs to
find her own place, when she does this she meets Coop, who turns out to be a Cupid sent from the
Elders to help her find love again. Coop and Phoebe fall in love, but they know they cannot be
together as their love would be forbidden, just as Piper and Leo’s was. Paige has met a police man
called Henry, who she marries before The Final Battle. When Billie finds her sister Christy, Billie
decides that they should help Piper get Leo back, but Christy has other ideas. Christy starts to turn
Billie and the magical community against the Charmed Ones, by making her believe they no longer
want to help the greater good. When the sister realise that Christy is in line with The Triad, and
she is turning Billie against them, they realise they need to vanquish Billie and Christy as they are
The Ultimate Power.
When Billie and Christy summon The Hallow it is at the same time as the Charmed Ones, and
when they all meet at the Manor for the Final Battle. Their powers are of equal strength and there
is an explosion, which leads to Paige and Phoebe being killed and Christy and Billie being hurt.
When Piper wakes up and realises that her sisters’ are dead, the Angel of Destiny returns with
Leo. When Coop feels that Phoebe has been killed, he gives Piper and Leo his ring, which allows
them to travel through time. When they use the ring they are taken to the future, where they meet
their future selves, and they learn that everything will be okay, but they need to figure out how to
do this. When Piper thinks of Phoebe, she is taken back in time when her mother is pregnant with
Phoebe, when she informs her mother of what has happened she wants to help her daughter to
correct the future, they then travel a small way into the future, where they meet Grams, and they
then inform Grams of what has happened. When they all go back in the future, just as the Final
Battle is happening, Piper, Grams and Pattie cast a spell that would take The Hallow of out
everyone in the battle. This changes the has happened and this became the new present, Billie and

Christy then leave the Manor to try to find a new way to defeat the Charmed Ones. The Angel of
Destiny returns to take Leo back with her, has the Final Battle has not been won, Coop also runs
into the Manor when he realises that Phoebe is still alive. When Phoebe, Piper, Paige, Pattie and
Grams are talking, Chris and Wyatt from the future turn up in their Manor. The boys explain to
everyone that Wyatt has no powers that something in this time as changed in this particular
moment. Wyatt also accidently calls Coop, Uncle, Chris then explains that Coop and Phoebe’s love
was never forbidden, as they Elders wanted them to fall in love, for all the pain Phoebe went
through with Cole.
Piper realises that Billie and Christy have taken Wyatt’s power from him, in the present time. The
sisters decide the only way they are able to defeat The Ultimate Power is to destroy The Triad. In
the meantime, Billie learns that Christy is evil and is on the same side as The Triad. When the
sisters arrive at Magic School to destroy The Triad, Billie is trying to convince Christy that The
Triad is evil, and they are just using them. The Charmed Ones kills The Triad in front of Christy
and Billie, but this leads to Christy trying to kill the sisters and Billie, as Christy believes that
Billie has turned against her. To protect herself and the Charmed Ones, Billie uses her power of
projection to force the fire ball back at Christy, thus killing her.
When the sisters arrive back at the Manor, Leo is returned to Piper, and the Angel of Destiny tells
the sisters that this is the way the Final Battle should end. Coop returns Pattie and Grams back
to their time, just before they were taken. Chris and Wyatt also return to the future, as Wyatt has
his powers back. Phoebe and Coop get married and have three daughters, and Phoebe still works as
advice columnist. Paige and Henry have twin girls and a son, Henry still works as a detective,
whilst Paige helps future whitelighters and witches. Piper and Leo have another child, a daughter;
Piper opens up a restaurant whilst Leo runs the Magic School. Billie is still a good friend of the
Charmed Ones, as she realises that her sister was turned evil.
