• ACOEM:

but no strong evidence exists that they accomplish this
as successfully as therapies that focus on restoring
functional ability
• Official Disability Guidelines (ODG): Bracing is
recommended as an option for compression fractures,
specific treatment of spondylolisthesis, documented
instability or post operative treatment
• Mercy Guidelines for Quality Assurance:
Bracing, casting, supports and orthotics are considered
useful components of chiropractic care (categorized as
Class II medical evidence)
