    2. WELL ITS ABOUT TO BE……
      • “ Research has found that a poorly set up workspace was damaging the health, productivity and motivation of workers….”
      • Temperature of the workplace should be kept between15C and 22C. The temperature in the English has exceeded its limits and has gone up as high as 27C. It is excessively blistering and leads into giving the teachers a minor headache or a day off from work. The teachers tired and sick of the temperature claimed that to much cramping and over crowding of people has led to this unbearable temperature.
      • Air Circulation is used to reduce the amount of dust and bacteria in the air. Unfortunately, I am forced to say that air circulation in the English room is extremely poor. The heater is on full speed, there is no room as everything is cramped, too many people produce too much heat, windows don’t open more than 10 cm and this has led to a chaos in the field of air circulation. This has increased the dust and bacteria and is one of the reasons why the English teachers are incapable of performing their best in school. Better flow of air is required for a better work environment.
      • Cleanliness is one of the major factors in ergonomics. I have to admit that there is no such thing as cleanliness in the English dept. room. The microwave has developed fungi and other type of bacteria have made this their home. The teachers don’t know when the last time they cleaned the fridge was. The whole room is unorganized with files and paper in every corner, shelves of heavy books every where and table and chair occupying hundred percent of the space. More organization would lead to a better work place.
      • The Lighting is too bright and this gives teacher a hard time looking at the computer and interpreting data from the computer. Other wise it’s great.
      • The furniture of your ergonomic workplace should be ergonomically efficient meaning that they are comfortable safe and easy to use. So rather than a hard dirty chair a leather flexible one is better. In the English room the tables are too low the chairs are plastic and bended some wooden chairs are broken and there are too many metal cabinets.
