4. Day 2 β Day 7 Rachel chases us the whole way to the pub - The Cowherds, we escape and manage to barricade ourselves in by using the broken up furniture to bar up the windows and the doors. We stay safe, the place is abandoned, we find food supplies, water and more furniture to break and defend ourselves with. We use the balcony to set off the fireworks found in the basement hoping to get help from outside. Zombies stop and stare. After 5 days, the zombies cannot be held back. We hide the supplies inside, set off more fireworks and carrying whatever we could, try to escape towards the city.
5. Creeping out, we find Rachel has been hiding under the stairs at the back. She is fully turned and we need to distract her to escape. We use home made petrol bombs to try and distract her hoping this would work the same as fireworks.
6. Day 8 We run, looking for a safe place to hide and wait out the infection, hoping the supplies would last. We find a radio and listen out for sporadic messages from other survivors.
7. Day 9 We find Southampton abandoned⦠Palmerston Park is eerily quiet and we move on quickly
8. Day 10 We find our next base β the Southampton City Walls β Bargate Gateway
