An Introduction
Requirements of the Unit
• Your answer is worth 50 marks (50% of the exam) and
should take you an hour to write.
• In your answer you MUST refer to the past (15% of answer),
contemporary (70% of answer) and make a prediction
about the future (15% of answer).
• You must refer to a minimum of 2 media areas in your
answer.

• “The impact of the internet on the media is revolutionary”.

• Discuss the extent to which the consumption and
distribution of media has been transformed by the internet.
