Editor's Notes

  1. Probation is the crucial assessment and investigation or subjection to such assessment and evaluation; the action of suspending the sentence of a convicted criminal and giving the criminal autonomy in the course of better conduct under the management of a probation officer.
  2. It is common to serve a little jail time prior to designated probation time If a violation take place in the course of the probation time, and the offender is resentenced, he/she will receive a credit of that time period he/she has already served. During the course of probation, quite a few programs are available for handling the issues that the offender may have. Other conditions of probation may incorporate paying a fine based on the severity of the violation. Any violation of the probation can result in the withdrawal of probation time.
