2. For the past 70 years, the
New Jersey Association for Justice (NJAJ) has
functioned as a professional organization for
thousands of New Jersey-based legal
professionals. Its members include law students,
paralegals, non-practicing lawyers, and attorneys
practicing in the public and private sectors. These
individuals focus their efforts on strengthening
consumer affair laws, protecting the environment,
increasing access to quality healthcare, and
promoting the public good. NJAJ members also
receive the opportunity to participate in
networking events throughout the year.
3. The group sponsors other initiatives as well.
Founded in 1987, the NJAJ Political Action
Committee supports candidates in elections and
advocates laws that aid the profession. NJAJ
Educational Foundation, Inc., conducts continuing
legal education courses and clinics. Every year,
the group honors journalists and tort lawyers with
Gold Medal Awards.
