2.  Michael Manis, president of Coastal Group
Holdings, supports the Sid Jacobson Jewish
Community Center. This center offers many
programs to help support those in the
community. One of its programs, Partners in
Caring, covers a range of supportive services
that address issues overseen by the Jack Nadel
Social Services Center.

3.  Partners in Caring supports people with
cancer, those in need of legal advice, and couples
with relationship challenges. The group also helps
families in need of support following the death of a
loved one, after the birth of a child, or while
handling caregiving duties for an elderly friend or
relative. There are also weekly support groups for
those who are grieving the loss of a loved one, in
the process of divorce, or joining the sandwich
generation where men and women are raising
raise families while also acting as caregiver to an
elderly parent.

4.  Some of the programs with Partners in Caring
require a small fee that covers one or more
sessions. Other programs, including the cancer
wellness programs, are free and funded by
donations from community members like
Michael Manis.
