Blake Shelton‟s twitter account is used by
himself and also a few others that help promote
Blake Shelton. You can see that by the different
voices and personas that are displayed in each
tweet.
Blake Shelton is known on twitter for showing
his personality. Not only does he use twitter to
give fans updates and keep in contact with them
but he also tweets random and hilarious things.

8.
Much like Blake‟s Twitter page his Facebook page
is both used by himself and his Team. The
difference between these two forms of social media
is that you can see that they use the Facebook page
for more promotional topics and twitter for more of
a social interaction with fans. Also much like twitter
Blake doesn‟t hide his personality.
10.
Blake Shelton‟s Official Website showcases
everything. Not only do they have a biography
of Blake Shelton but they play his singles,
have new videos posted, tour dates, show his
recent tweets and even sell merchandise.

This site leads you to the country music association
website which showcases all country music artists
tours, shows and awards.
Blake Shelton is apart of the CMA world along with
his wife, Zac Brown Band, Taylor Swift, Luke Bryan,
Tim McGraw and many more.
This community of singers are very close and even
gather together once a year at the CMA festival which
is a weekend of fun and musical entertainment.
This allows for the artists to gather in appreciation
for their musical talents and successes as well as see
some familiar faces to enjoy their company.
12.
In 2011 Blake Shelton joined Adam Levine, Cee Lo
Green and Christina Aguilera on a reality music TV
show called The Voice
They are judges looking for new talent.
Blake has been on the show for 5 seasons and a 6th
season is beginning on February 24th with Shakira
and Usher.
He has won the voice three
times (Seasons 2,3 & 4)
13.
Blake Shelton has created his own audience through
the world of Country Music. Today the genre is
beginning to gain more popularity and Blake Shelton
is one of the many names that have helped country
rise in audience numbers. Due to his witty and
charming personality and his soothing country voice,
Blake has a large audience. He not only created an
audience with his music but also with his TV
personality on The Voice. If you look at his twitter
page he is very happy with his life and the career her
has. Those who do not want to be a fan he could care
less about that, in contrast those who are actively
involved with his career and even smaller fans he is
very loving and engages with the fans often through
twitter and facebook.
14.
Blake Shelton uses online social media sites
to keep in contact with his fans and to inform
them of upcoming events and dates. He also
likes to show his personality through social
media, which fans love. As a fan of Blake
Shelton I thoroughly enjoy his sometime
inappropriate but hilarious tweets. It gives
fans and his audience an opportunity to feel
like they know him more personally rather
than just an artist whose music they enjoy.
15.
Blake engages in many forms of social media in
order to connect with his fans. He tweets about
random thoughts as well as promoting his music.
He also will have days where he retweets and
responds to some of their questions. One
problem that Blake does is he responds
negatively to some criticisms over twitter in an
unprofessional manner, in my opinion. He also is
very vocal about drinking, which in some
people‟s eyes could be a bad thing but also that
is his personality. He jokes about being drunk
and drinking a lot, but that‟s the persona he has
built for himself.
16.
I think with the help of the voice Blake is very
effective with both online and physical spaces. On his
hit reality TV show he is able to connect with other
singers as well as fans of the show and with his music
he has another fan base that he continues to engage
with through performances, tours and award shows.
Also if you look on Blake‟s official website they have a
page that is all about Meet & Greet, which gives fans
the opportunity to physically be around Blake
Shelton. Most artists do engage physically with their
fans this way so I believe it is effective. The difference
that separates artists is how they interact online,
where Blake Shelton has been very effective.
17.
Twitter, Facebook and Youtube are the best ways
that Blake Shelton engages with his audience. He
consistently is posting updates about his TV
show, tour dates and even more personal
comments. Most recently is The Voice season 6
premier but upcoming he has a big festival in
Canada called Boots & Hearts as well as the CMA
festival which if you‟re keeping track of his social
media, he will be posting lots of updates about
those upcoming events. Also he tweets live
during The Voice shows to keep in contact with
fans and to help his artists be successful in the
show.
