1. SPORTIDENT
It’s called Sportident. It’s made of plastic and a mini electric system. It’s
used in the orienteering races since it’s a fast system for checking if you
take all the controls in a race. The sportident was invented in 1980 by
Swedish researches, but the first race with Sportident was in Norway. Now,
it’s made in Germany. The model S-9 (the fastest) costs 50 € and the S-6
costs 35 €. The sportident looks like a clothes clamp. I think it is an
electronic invention.
The sportident is used in the races of the National League, Spanish
Champions, and Regional’s leagues but in the Circuit of Cadiz, it isn’t
possible because all people haven’t got the Sportident and the clubs haven’t
got 60 Sportidents.
