- 1. BC PNP 2016 With Express Entry (EE) being adopted at the Federal and Provincial Level, British Columbia (BC) couldn’t have been far behind. In July 2015, BC did introduce EE for Entrepreneurial Immigration. The simplicity of procedure has now been extended to the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) in BC. So what’s changed in BC PNP 2016? • You now register to be invited with basic information based on your category • You need points that meet the cut-offs announced for BC PNP • For BC PNP 2016, Economic and Human Capital factors will play a crucial role in deciding if you will get the much desirable Expression of Interest (EOI) under Express Entry (EE) or Skills Immigration (SI) • You can register your profile anytime during the year, unless announced otherwise • Your registered profile will be eligible for consideration for a total of 12 months The Process Your EOI depends on the score you have and whether it meets the cut off announced this time for your category. See below for the break up shared Category Points Needed Category Points Needed SI – Skilled Worker 135 SI – Northeast Pilot Project 95 SI – International Grads 105 EE – Skilled Worker 135 SI – Entry Level Semi-Skilled 95 EE – International Graduate 105 If you are an International Graduate, you will need at least 105 points to get an EOI.
